
SHL and BYP Network Join Forces: Discover the Excitement of Working at SHL
SHL, a global leader in talent insight, has partnered with the BYP Network to enhance employment experiences and opportunities for Black heritage individuals in the workplace without bias. This collaboration aims to conduct meaningful research and develop practices that address and eliminate biases in organisational assessment, hiring, development, and mobilisation processes.
Lucy Adler, SHL’s Inclusion and Engagement Director, emphasised how their assessment and data give individuals worldwide the opportunity of being hired, receiving a promotion, and participating in talent programs. She went on further to express her desire to use this program to highlight any possible bias geared toward Black professionals in current talent processes. She noted that this research will directly investigate how black candidates ultimately perform and experience SHL’s assessment.
Kike Oniwinde Agoro, founder and CEO of BYP Network, highlighted the importance of understanding the experiences of underrepresented groups and taking deliberate actions to dismantle barriers limiting opportunities. As a result, specific attention will be placed on formulating focus groups to aid SHL in understanding the black experience and barriers faced in the community. Kike is particularly excited about this collaboration because BYP joining with SHL will aid orgnaizations in achieving their goals in attracting, retaining and maintaining black professionals.
