Euromonitor Multicultural ERG Executive Sponsor talks about the importance of the group in building an inclusive culture.

Within the video, Mike shares why the ERGS are important to Euromonitor and highlights his reasons for creating a safe space for Black people in society and importantly at Euromonitor. Mike's role as an ERG sponsor includes amplifying the voices within the group he represents and working with them at EMI to create an inclusive culture for all. Whilst the Multicultural Group is representative of multiple cultures across our business, the impact of the murder of George Floyd and Mike's reasons has put a spotlight on our black talent and challenged the business to think about how we continue to support them as they build their careers at Euromonitor.

In addition to the above, Euromonitor's commitment to support our black staff has shaped and informed some of our inclusive training curated on topics like Bullying, Harassment and Microaggression, inclusive recruitment and leadership. Euromonitor has also focused on ethnicity pay gaps in our offices in London and Chicago, and we work with the ERGS to understand the data and actions to be taken. Part of that action is partnering with BYP to help us increase black talent within our organisation, but we are also working with the community to ensure they feel supported and their careers can progress with us.

The work of our ERGs, Local DEI Committees, our global DEI Director, our sponsor Mike, and various stakeholders across the business plays a key role in building an inclusive culture for all at Euromonitor.
