At Co-op, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace and society where everyone feels valued and included. Last month, in honor of Black History Month, we hosted a meaningful and thought-provoking panel discussion in collaboration with the BYP Network at our head office.

The event was centered around a critical and timely question: Has anything truly changed for Black people in the workplace since the Black Lives Matter protests?

Our panellists brought honesty, depth, and hope to this important conversation. They shared their personal experiences, shed light on the challenges Black professionals still face, and celebrated the progress made so far. While there is still much work to be done, the discussion highlighted how co-operation and collaboration can unite communities and pave the way for a more inclusive society.
