The BYP Community serves as a dynamic platform for Black professionals worldwide, fostering an environment conducive to the development of leadership skills and accelerated career progression. Led by dedicated Chapter Leads, individuals within the BYP Community have the unique opportunity to connect with like-minded peers, forming a supportive network aimed at propelling professional growth.
Budapest is a vibrant city in the heart of Hungary. It is currently the 9th most populous city in the European Union and popular for its thermal baths, ruin bars, remarkable architecture, and prestigious landmarks such as the Danube River, Citadella, the parliament building, Heroes’ Square, and tons of castles. Budapest is the capital of Hungary and has been voted one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with one of the best transport systems.
Budapest got its name after the amalgamation of the Buda hills and Pest county. It has a captivating nightlife, delicious cuisine, and big festivals. A sunset on any of the Buda hills or a tour of the castle district will leave you enchanted with the most pleasant memories.
Over the years, Budapest has developed into a hub for technology and is home to many international expats and young professionals.
The black professionals in Budapest and Hungary at large have steadily grown in the last 5 years, with nationalities such as Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, among others. While the black community gets together from time to time, there is still a lot of collaboration that can happen within the black professional space to foster a community where black professionals can share experiences, opportunities, knowledge, and nurture friendships.
