Senior Program Manager - Fixed term contract 1 year, Amazon Business Payments
Description
This is a fixed term contract position from August 2026 until July 2027.
Amazon Business Payments provides invoicing, working capital, and payment acceptance solutions to millions of business customers, sellers, and partners worldwide. We are part of the global Amazon Payments organization, building payment experiences and financial services that are trusted, valued, and easy to use. Our Business Credit Account product enables enterprise customers to manage procurement-to-pay workflows at scale, and the payment health of that experience directly impacts customer retention, operational efficiency, and revenue.
We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to own payment excellence for Amazon Business Payments experience. In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of a complex, cross-functional program with considerable business impact. You will be accountable for both program strategy and tactical execution: defining the program mission and objectives, analyzing data to drive improvements quantified with metrics, and influencing resource allocation across teams. You will partner with Finance, Product, Sales, and Customer Support to identify root causes of payment defects, launch operational processes, and deliver measurable improvements in payment health for our customers. You will oversee the gap between teams, processes, and systems, driving alignment and ensuring stakeholder needs are met. You will write effective narratives and present progress and outcomes to Directors and VPs. The right candidate combines program management depth, operational rigor, and the ability to build consensus and drive delivery across organizations.

• Define and implement improved standard operating procedures, and leverage AI tools to drive processes at scale.
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining or eliminating excess process, automating workflows, and reducing operational inefficiencies across the program.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into payment health, and present progress and outcomes to Directors and VPs.
• Write effective narratives (6-pagers, PR/FAQs, program documents) and drive crisp, timely decisions by fostering constructive dialogue and building consensus across teams.
