Senior Strategy and Operations Lead, Google Operations Center

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a project management or a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or a similar role in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs concurrently, showcasing organizational skills and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in building robust relationships, influencing outcomes, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business acumen and experience in process analysis, operational modeling, and identifying optimitzation opportunities within large-scale operational environments.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous data and complex insights into actionable strategies, compelling business cases, and measurable operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex strategic programs and high-impact projects from ambiguous concept to successful delivery. Define objectives, scope, and roadmaps, demonstrating strong problem-solving and program management in navigating ambiguity.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven narratives, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Synthesize complex analyses and operational dynamics into clear, influential communications that inform key decisions.
  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with stakeholders. Influence outcomes by driving consensus, navigating complex dependencies, and leading change initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Employ rigorous analysis and foresight to identify opportunities, diagnose challenges, and formulate data-backed strategies for operational excellence and resource optimization. Act as a key thought partner, balancing detailed analysis with a holistic view to align operations with Google Operations Center (GOC) goals.
