Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in software engineering as a developer or development manager, with strong understanding of software development processes, tools, software test/qualification, release methodologies.
  • Knowledge/experience with NPI development, firmware, driving software quality and process transformation.
  • Excellent program management skills, with the demonstrated ability to successfully drive and land software programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end system software development programs, specifically focusing on Firmware (FW)/Software (SW) integration to support the bring-up, testing, and validation of new TPU and Compute generations.
  • Orchestrate planning and execution across partner teams, including AI2, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Cloud Directory (GCD), and Core, to ensure seamless integration of TPU software into the broader Google ecosystem.
  • Manage the delivery of allied software components required to enable new NPI within the production fleet, ensuring all reliability and performance milestones are met.
  • Provide critical Technical Program Manager (TPM) support for long-term roadmap development and resource allocation, balancing immediate project needs with future infrastructure goals.
  • Apply technical judgment to identify systemic bottlenecks. Drive initiatives that measurably improve software quality, developer velocity, and release predictability.
