Director, US Android Business Partnerships
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in technology sales or business development.
- 7 years of experience leading a global or regional sales organization, with responsibility for revenue targets and forecasting.
- Experience engaging with and building GTM plans with C-level executives at technology partners (OEMs, distributors, VARs).
Preferred qualifications:
- Exceptional strategic planning, partnership negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas as a senior leader in a complex, high-growth software or platform business.

The Platforms & Devices Commercial Organization (PDCO) is the commercial gateway of our platforms, devices, and services to partners and users.
As the Director of Android Business for the US region, you will lead the commercial strategy and execution for the Android ecosystem in the US. Within PDCO, you will manage a senior team of sales partner managers responsible for critical GTM partnerships.
Your primary objective is to develop an integrated strategy and lead relationships with carriers & retailers in the US. In this role, you will act as the strategic architect behind our retail and carrier presence, ensuring global innovation translates into local market leadership.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
US: $272000 - $379000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Act as the face of Android GTM at major industry and partner events to influence broader ecosystem priorities.
- Drive an integrated strategy with top retailers & carriers.
- Ensure partners managers successfully manage HQ relationships, align on targets, and maintain the financial health of the category.
- Conduct high-level negotiations with partners to influence GTM investments and resources.
- Lead a high-performing team of sales partner managers in the US.
