Technical Program Manager III, Colocation Infrastructure, Google Public Sector
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with data center architecture.
- Experience with planning in a colocation environment.
- Active, or the ability to obtain, a Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working on evaluating and designing data center infrastructure.
- Experience in AutoCAD drafting.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, evaluation, design, and construction of Google's space in data center facilities across the globe. We are looking for Technical Program Manager (TPMs) and engineers who can help us to evaluate, plan, design, cost, and build new and enhanced space in data center facilities. We are constantly in a state of evaluations, design, and construction across the globe, we need team members who can help us execute on our goal to design and build spaces that last us multiple years.

Responsibilities

Understand space and power management for data center environments.

Review and thoroughly understand Google's Network Architecture Standards.

Develop reports and metrics related to data center infrastructure capacity planning.

Work closely with Google Operations and Engineering teams.
- Create high-level project plans that identify resource needs and critical paths.
