Senior Interaction Designer, Billing UX, Payments
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience designing consumer-facing Business-to-Consumer (B2C) products within Payments, FinTech, E-commerce, or transactional digital platforms.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment, applying design tools (e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
- Experience working in a UX team and a product design environment in close collaboration with design, research, product management and engineering as part of the product development process.
- Experience in visual design.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, and ability to convey complex ideas simply.

Responsibilities
- Develop optimized checkout and sign-up journeys across Google, partnering with senior leads and aligning it with overall product strategy and balancing user and business needs.
- Develop UX deliverables, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that are intuitive, engaging, and accessible and collaborate with UX Researchers (UXR) to understand user needs and validate designs through testing and iteration.
- Contribute to and maintain the Platform's design system, ensuring consistency and evolving the system where needed to support this new investment area.
- Communicate design rationale and advocate for design decisions to stakeholders at all levels, stay current with UX trends in this space, and share knowledge within the team and organization.
- Build cross-functional partnerships and alignment between Connections and partner teams the across Payments Platform.
