Senior Customer Engineer, Chrome Enterprise (English, Mandarin)
Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a customer-facing or technical project management role.
- 5 years of experience working with enterprise operating systems including Chrome.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the following areas of IT infrastructure: networking (e.g., VPN, Wireless, protocols), identity management (e.g., SSO, SAML, ActiveDirectory), and security (e.g., VPN, firewalls).
- Experience with application delivery including: web application and integration (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript, CSS), VDI solutions (e.g., Citrix, VMWare, RDP), and mobile apps.
- Experience with managed endpoint devices (e.g., PC or mobile), and the growing ecosystem of browser-based applications and collaboration tools.
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or Google Workspace solutions.

As a Customer Engineer in the technical sales team, you will be supporting the enterprise segment. You will equip companies with Google tools to make technology at work more simple, secure and shareable. You will inspire leading companies and government agencies to work smarter with cloud or web first strategies through Chrome Enterprise and take advantage of advanced enterprise capabilities for administrative controls.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary platforms and devices enterprise solutions technical lead on key accounts. Bring together cross-functional agreement team members to design and execute comprehensive technical sales strategies and opportunity technical win plans.
- Work with the sales team to guide and accelerate the transition of leading companies, partners and government agencies to Chrome Enterprise, which encompasses Chrome Enterprise Premium, Chrome Operating System (OS), and their collective management tools.
- Identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments.
- Provide proactive consultation and strategic guidance for utilizing scalable enablement and funding programs to accelerate proof-of-concepts and pilots.
- Own the technical sales motion to accelerate new bookings, upsells, and expansions across the core enterprise portfolio (Chrome Enterprise Premium, ChromeOS, Cameyo, Pixel/AE, etc.).
