Account Manager, NHS Regional Healthcare, UK Public Sector Healthcare

London, England, GBR Full Time

Description

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to own and grow relationships across a portfolio of NHS trusts and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) within a defined region, driving cloud adoption aligned to the NHS Long-Term Plan.

Key job responsibilities
1/ Own a portfolio of NHS trusts and ICS organisations within an assigned region, building C-suite and IT leadership relationships (CIO, CDIO, CFO, Director of Digital)
2/ Develop and execute account plans that align AWS cloud capabilities to customer transformation priorities (frontline digitisation, interoperability, productivity, cyber resilience)
3/ Position cloud migration as a business transformation lever — articulating financial, operational, and clinical outcomes to Board-level stakeholders
4/ Build and manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities across infrastructure migration, managed services, data platforms, and AI/ML workloads
5/ Work with the AWS partner ecosystem (GSIs, managed service providers, health-tech ISVs) to develop joint solutions and co-sell motions
6/ Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Partner Development Managers, and Specialist teams to deliver technical depth and proof-of-concept engagements
7/ Navigate NHS procurement frameworks (Crown Commercial Service, HTE, NHSE commercial routes) and support customers through complex multi-stakeholder buying processes
8/ Contribute to thought leadership, policy engagement, and industry events that position AWS as the strategic cloud partner for NHS healthcare

A day in the life
No two days in this role are the same. On any given day, you might start the morning preparing a cloud business case for a Trust CFO and spend the afternoon on-site with a CDIO walking through their digital roadmap.

You'll balance strategic account planning with tactical deal execution — one moment you're working with a Trust's to shape their infrastructure strategy, the next you're navigating a procurement framework. You'll join internal working sessions with Solutions Architects to design a resilient architecture for a clinical workload, then brief your leadership on pipeline progress.

You'll attend NHS industry events and ICS board meetings and host innovation days that bring clinicians face-to-face with AI and data tools. Some weeks you'll be deep in a complex multi-stakeholder procurement; others you'll be running a proof-of-concept that demonstrates measurable productivity gains.

What stays constant: you will be at the centre of the UK's most significant healthcare transformation, working with senior leaders who are making technology decisions that will shape patient care for the next decade. The pace is high, the impact is real, and the team around you is exceptional.
