Prime Video is seeking a Content Acquisition Manager with a blend of business and analytical skills to join our team and grow the Prime Video Store business in the UK and France. You will help execute our promotions and run operations for Prime Video’s transactional business in Europe. You will also build strong relationships with your portfolio of studios and be responsible for the commercial performance of the accounts. You will work cross functionally with Marketing, Operations, Legal and Finance.

Key job responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will focus on four crucial business areas:

• Studio management: Independently manage your own portfolio of studios. Build and maintain strong studio relationships, drive key studio inputs for daily operational business, negotiate commercial agreements and manage commercial performance, handle operational studio requests and conduct regular business reviews and planning.
• Promotions: Deliver and support promotions that excite and engage our customers both for existing programs like Prime Day, or studio-tailored, country-specific initiatives. Conduct dive deep analyses on results and recommend scaling and optimization opportunities.
• Operations: Improve customer experience by monitoring title availability, promotional offers or prices. Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.
• Business development: Identify opportunities based on deep data analysis and provide recommendations to improve performance. Support and execute initiatives to drive customer engagement, revenue growth and profitability improvements.

A day in the life
Key daily activities would include:
• Attending regular meetings both externally with your studios and internally during business reviews.
• Monitoring and managing profitability issues at title-level.
• Managing product releases and ensuring accuracy of pricing, costing, on-time publishing, merchandising and performance reporting.
• Troubleshooting and triaging any issues flagged by studios.
• Working independently on internal projects that align with core business goals.

About the team
The Prime Video Store International team is made up of several core functions: Studio Partnerships & Studio Partner Program, Content Acquisition Management, Pricing & Costing, and Program Management. We all work closely alongside one another, as well as with our partner Prime Video teams handling 'included with Prime' content, add-on subscriptions, Sports, etc. The Prime Video Store team looks after our transactional team (TVOD) business accross Europe, Canada, Latin America, and Australia.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience in account management, business development, content licensing or finance, with demonstrated ability to independently manage commercial partnerships and negotiate agreements.
- Highly proficient in Excel, knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Google docs and sheets.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and French (Common European Framework of Reference C1 or above)

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Professional experience in a large content group (e.g. movie studio), acquirer of content (e.g. Pay TV), management consulting or related industry.
- Problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a customer delivering role, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.
