Senior Account Manager, Aerospace and Satellite

Description

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Sales Representative to focus on developing new customers in Aerospace and Satellite in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate has sales experience in this vertical with a terrific reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets, while maintaining a strategy which scales across a large set of customers.

The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The Enterprise Sales Executive will be an exceptionally strong and creative thinker who thrives in a team environment and embraces all aspects of selling, including prospecting, engaging partners, and leveraging all resources at their disposal to maximize breadth of impact. They must be able to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and have very strong verbal and written communication skills.



Key job responsibilities
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
• Accelerate customer adoption.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
• Manage contract negotiations.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Moderate travel.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or experience in technology related sales, business development or equivalent
- Experience in full sales cycle, technology sales, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent business development
- Experience in executive level engagement with SVP/VP/C-Suite
- Experience in exceeding quota and key performance metrics
- Experience in customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA, or experience working in a sales role
- Experience in Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications or related industry
