Industry Manager, Government, Public and Infrastructure, LCS (English, Japanese)
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Experience in management consulting, advertising industry, or government and infrastructure industry.
- Experience in building relationships with C-level stakeholders.
- Understanding of digital and TV media, offline/online marketing, and managing large advertising budgets and campaigns.
- Ability to work well in ambiguity and operate with limited guidance, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

As an Industry Manager, you will develop and provide integrated marketing solutions to key Government and Infrastructure advertisers in Japan. This is a client-facing sales role requiring deep industry expertise, where you will build and manage executive business plans, strategy, and relationships with C-level stakeholders and their agencies, to better understand larger business goals and challenges, and ensure that our clients' needs and requirements are met. You will drive and grow new and existing businesses with clients by creating Joint Business Plans to build solid and sustainable business partnerships.
You’ll also work cross-functionally within Google on the broader digital transformation of the Government and Infrastructure industry, developing holistic solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities
- Drive business growth, and leverage your knowledge of online media, analytical abilities, and strong communication skills to help new and existing clients scale their businesses.
- Provide Google-caliber client service, relationship management, and in-depth market research and analysis.
- Uncover client needs by anticipating client decision-making processes to persistently explore, uncover, and understand the core business needs of key accounts.
- Strategize product solutions, and map the client's unique goals to our broad range of advertising product offerings to drive measurable success.
- Collaborate directly with partners to establish the long-term goal and strategy for how their advertising campaigns can reach thousands of users.
