Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in leadership role with direct reports.
- Experience with fiber optic network design, deployment, and operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working with global carriers and vendors in the telecommunications industry.
- Experience with network automation and orchestration technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

The Fiber and Capacity Delivery team is part of Global Network Solutions (GNS). Our mission is to deliver the long-haul and metro outside-plant (OSP) fiber infrastructure assets that connect Google's data centers to users and Cloud customers worldwide, ensuring seamless and reliable data transfer across vast distances.
In this role, you will lead a team for our West region, responsible for delivering the critical infrastructure that powers Google's products and services. You will play a crucial role in expanding Google's network reach and capacity, enabling seamless connectivity for users and Cloud customers worldwide. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) specialized in delivery of dark fiber and leased capacity from third-party network providers.
- Develop and implement standardized processes, tools, and best practices for efficient, scalable, and on-time fiber deployment worldwide.
- Oversee a portfolio of complex, hyperscale fiber deployment programs, encompassing long-haul dark fiber, metro fiber, and leased capacity solutions.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including network engineers, carriers, vendors, and internal Google teams.
- Cultivate a high-performing and team environment, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
