Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with project management and ability to multitask and prioritize while meeting deadlines in a fast moving environment.
  • Knowledge of YouTube large partners and creator ecosystem, as well as the customer and competitive context.
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, high energy, constantly evolving, team environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad set of stakeholders from different markets and regions.
  • Strong business sense with distinctive problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position.

About the job

The YouTube Business Central Strategy & Operations Team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning and business operations, incentives design and operations, and business strategy & operations for the three regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

In this role, you will be a key thought partner and advisor to the YouTube APAC leadership team, helping them make critical business decisions. Your insights will be backed by local and regional industry and market expertise, coupled with core business metrics. You will also be a critical team member in monitoring the health of the business across the region, surfacing opportunities and hot spots and developing cross-functional action plans to drive the success of the business.

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic individual to join the YouTube APAC team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving regional market analysis, shaping strategic initiatives, and providing data-driven insights to guide critical business decisions. You will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across APAC and globally to identify growth opportunities, address challenges, and enhance YouTube's go-to-market approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and refinement of country-level market diagnostics, identifying hotspots and growth opportunities, and defining clear intervention strategies and escalation paths. Contribute to quarterly regional reports, providing insights on key risks and cross-functional action plans.
  • Conduct data analysis to understand viewership patterns and growth metrics. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for partners and develop compelling local narratives for annual and mid-year country reviews in collaboration with country leads.
  • Program manage regional strategic projects, driving cross-functional action plans between Business, Marketing, and Product teams within the region and globally.
  • Provide thought leadership and ensure strategic alignment across various stakeholders. Integrate regional feedback into global planning cycles.
  • Develop and implement innovative experiments to enhance our go-to-market strategies. Perform data analyses to define parameters and evaluate efficacy, navigate internal processes, and support leadership in scaling successful initiatives.
