Key Account Executive, Top Pursuit, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in promoting cloud computing solutions.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with, and leading, cross-functional internal teams (e.g., business development, customer engineers, partner sales) and external partners in implementation projects and discussions.
  • Experience in growing an existing customer base and acquiring new clients, to improve business growth.
  • Experience in developing Go-to-Market (GTM) offerings based on industry and regional requirements.
  • Experience in launching and landing GTM offerings to customers and tracking new business.
  • Experience in winning/delivering large cloud agreements.
  • Sharp understanding of competitor offerings, strong communication skills and experience in conducting partner executive briefings.

As a Key Account Executive, you will manage the growth strategy for top enterprise accounts across Greater China. You will leverage experience engaging with executives to build on existing relationships, establish relationships in new areas, and act as a business partner to understand our customer's tests and goals. You will advocate the power of our products and solutions to make organizations more collaborative and mobile.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior, stateful business executive responsible for leading and winning large, complex Google Cloud-led accounts
  • Establish trusted relationships with and influence the board, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and senior executive management team at enterprise organizations.
  • Establish trusted relationships within Google with Senior Vice President/Vice President (SVP/VP) in different Google business units (Google Health, Android, Search, Maps, Ads, etc.)
  • Manage business cycles, presenting to C-level executives and negotiating terms.
  • Drive business development, own operational excellence, forecast and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
