Senior Software Engineer, AI, TPU Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in C++ with proven experience in advanced software development.
  • Strong understanding of cloud or data center compute and storage technologies.
  • Familiarity with software for AI infrastructure, reference operating system, storage, and TPUs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Passion for machine learning and deepening knowledge of hardware/software stacks.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) Software/Hardware teams to design, develop, and validate standalone TPU-based systems.
  • Build and integrate cloud compute software to successfully bootstrap TPU AI infrastructure.
  • Drive high-quality, timely project delivery while maintaining rigorous engineering standards within your team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to strategically shape the future of our AI infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to foster the growth and development of team members.
