Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience managing programs with multiple work streams in compliance, risk management, audit, legal, or consulting.
- Experience in Trust and Safety Operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Compliance, Law).
- Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional) or Six Sigma.
- Experience driving operational and organizational transformations.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

As an AI/ML Program Manager for Compute Trust and Safety Operational Excellence team, you will drive the efforts associated with the development, deployment, and ongoing governance of our AI/ML infrastructure. You are tasked with a mission-critical mandate, accelerating the AI transformation of Google Play's Trust and Safety Operations. This isn't about incremental gains; it’s about a fundamental paradigm shift. You will lead the transition from manual-heavy moderation to a high-precision, AI-native ecosystem. You will sit at the intersection of policy, engineering, analytics, product, and operations, ensuring that our AI models don't just work fast, but work right, improving decision accuracy and global coverage while significantly reducing our reliance on manual workflows.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $136000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the transition from manual-heavy review to an AI-native ecosystem by defining the future state of human-in-the-loop and human-on-the-loop operations, assessing product requirements for Al/ML model training, and implementing processes for end-to-end governance from development through deployment.
- Navigate complex, global initiatives by unifying Product, Engineering, and Policy teams.
- Act as a primary bridge between analytics, engineering, and operational teams to define and integrate an AI-native workforce, measurement, and tooling strategy.
- Lead strategic resource modeling and capacity planning across global teams to ensure technical and human expertise are effectively deployed to meet high-priority Trust and Safety goals.
- Advocate for Al and automation efforts ensuring the benefits of Al are strategically integrated to enhance efficiency and quality.
