Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in relevant field.
- Experience with, machine learning.
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

As a Senior Analyst on the Content Adversarial Red Team (CART), you will be a leading expert in identifying and mitigating emerging content safety risks within Google's GenAI products. You will lead the charge in uncovering unknown generative AI issues novel threats and vulnerabilities that are not captured by traditional testing methods. Your understanding of AI safety and your ability to think will be instrumental in shaping the future of AI development, ensuring that Google's AI products are responsible and bold.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $141000 - $206000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Develop innovative, targeted strategies to identify, analyze, and anticipate highly AI safety and content risks.
- Partner with product, engineering, and research teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement actionable, data-driven security solutions.
- Shape and optimize internal CART programs, refining existing safety protocols and establishing industry-wide best practices.
- Mentor junior analysts, share expert knowledge in adversarial testing, and advocate AI safety initiatives across the organization.
- Be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting content.
